Here’s yet another unconventional voice entering Kollywood. Mili has lent the vocals for the Maattraan trailer which was launched on Wednesday evening.

The Bangalore-born, Chennai-based musician has sung many jingles so far, which include songs for popular brands like Maaza. She is one of the few Chennai musicians who will be seen in this season of MTV’s Coke Studio.

Mili, who is excited about singing for such a big film, has even written the English lyrics that appear in the trailer, which have been set to tune by Harris Jayaraj. Previously, Mili has sung a number for a Kannada film Veera Parampare that starred Aindrita Ray and Sudeep.
