Close on the heels of Karnan's mega hit, its now the turn of another yesteryear Sivaji Ganesan film to release today.

Sorgam starring Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role will hit the screens in Chennai today.

Sorgam featured Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan and K R Vijaya in the lead roles.

The film was written by Sakthi T. K. Krishnasamy and directed by T. R. Ramanna. It was a great success and ran for over 100 days in theaters

The movie has music by M S Viswanathan. Songs like Ponmagal vanthal where huge hits.

It may be recalled that Karnan, a yesteryear classic featuring Sivaji Ganesan and NTR was digitalised and re-released.

The movie went on to become a craze among people. It crossed 100 days in its re-run.
