One time Kollywood's hot –shot director and character actor Manivannan, is back behind the camera. After an 11 years self-imposed break, Manivannan is making a sequel to his popular 1994 hit Amaidhi Padai.
The new film has been titled as Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA, the character name of Sathyaraj in Amaidhi Padai. In the sequel Sathyaraj and Seeman will play the two male leads along with Mrudala, Komal Sharma and Varsha.
New comer Miruthula and Komal Sharma ,Varsha make their heroine part in this movie. Manivannan and his son Raghu Manivannan are also play the roles in the movie.

James Vasanthan will be the music director of the film which will be shot in Coimbatore and surrounding areas in one single schedule. S Ravichandran and K Suresh are producing the movie under V House Production.
