Looks like this is time for music composers to don the greasepaint. Close on the heels of Vijay Antony playing the protagonist in 'Naan', G V Prakash Kumar is now ready to do the lead role in an upcoming film. The young music composer is reported to play the lead role in AR Murugadoss’s next production. The story revolves around a musical subject so the makers feel that GV is the best choice for them.

If things work out, music composer G V Prakash will play the lead role in director A R Murugadoss' next production. The makers of the film, which revolves around a musical subject, have apparently already pitched the story to GV.

When we contacted Murugadoss, he said, "Yes, we are in talks with GV. When Rajasekhar, who is part of my scripting team, narrated the subject to me, I listened to it with GV in mind. I bounced off GV's name and he said that he also had the same idea. We then discussed it with the music composer and he is still contemplating it." The film is said to be a two-hero subject and will have two leading ladies, who are yet to be finalized.

The music composer meanwhile is busy with the films of directors Vijay, Vetri Maaran and Anurag Kashyap. But the fact that this story is a musical seems to be attracting him. When contacted, GV said, "Yes, it's true that I've been approached to play the lead in Murugadoss' next production. But, it's too early to talk about it."
