Kamal Haasan, the chairman of the entertainment arm of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry announced that the annual convention will be held on October 16th and 17th this year.

The topic chosen for discussion is 100 years of Indian cinema and the milestones achieved all these years apart from new ideas and innovation to be introduced hereon. The future of music, television and animation will also be discussed in this convention.

The event is planned on a grand scale and several stars including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Jayaram, Shobana and others have given their assent to participate in the convention to show their support.
