Director KV Anand has requested all the theatre owners to add back a particular scene in Maattraan in which Suriya breaks a dining glass.

Seconding the director’s views on this issue, lyricist Madan Karky has also opined that this scene is the best in Maattraan.

Saying that it is one of the best performances from the star, KV Anand added that fans pay for their tickets to watch the full movie.The director is perturbed that some theatre owners are resorting to their own editing and this is hurting the film badly.

It may be mentioned here that some scenes have been chopped a few days ago but a few theatre owners are resorting to their own editing.
