Suriya and Kajal Agarwal starring Maatran is all set to hit the screens worldwide this Friday, on Oct 12th. Here we go with some release updates.

Directed by KV Anand Maatran is being produced by AGS Entertainments benner, who are known for their promotions, which is not happening this time. Being a Suriya starrer Maatran has very less promotion out of Chennai with very less posters. Especially in the places such as Thirunelveli, Karur, Trichy and Nellai dist people are not even aware of the theater list.

Besides this, Maatran is making biggest Tamil release in USA after Superstar Rajinikanth's Endhiran with 63 screens and Ajith's Billa2 with 61 screens. Due to Cauvery issue Karnataka distributor refuses to screen the Tamil version Maatran and has taken the copies of Telugu dubbed version Brothers to theater in his state.
Meanwhile Suriya's Brothers is also making solo release in AP with 400 screens, while the Tamil version is expected to release in 600+ screens.
