Last year around this time, a tamil song posted in YouTube became a viral sensation. 'Kolaveri' was a mega sensation. It is now the maestro A.R.Rahman's song that has grabbed the attention of the fans.
The song 'Nenjukulle' from Rahman's forthcoming venture 'Kadal' has already racked up over 163000 views on YouTube. Other staggering statistics include 44000 likes on FaceBook and over 139000 views on the MTV website where this was recorded as part of 'Unplugged'.

Rahman thanked his fans on his microblogging site ""OMG... OMG... Didn't expect such kind of remarks for our MTV Unplugged event. Thanks so much for all your love."

The movie Kadal is directed by Mani Ratnam and stars debutants Gautham  and Thulasi. Nenjukulle was sung by Sakthisree Gopalan. The singer's previous credits includes the title song from 'Jab tak hai Jaan' (another movie that has music from A.R. Rahman)
