Director Ram after Tamil M A has been directing a film titled Thanga Meengal. This film was under production for a long time.

Gowtham Menon has produced this film. The audio CD of this film is to be released very soon.

The story of Thanga Meengal is about an emotional relationship between 9 years old daughter and her father.

Ram while speaking about this said, “ The story of Thanga Meengal is centred around the affectionate relationship between a father and his 9 years old daughter.

Though many such films have been released earlier, this will be entirely different one. I have not taken this story from any Indian films, foreign films, novels or short stories. This story is written by me based on some real incidents.”

Director Ram is donning the role of the father in Thanga Meengal. Director Gowtham Menon has only insisted Ram to don this role. The shooting of this film has been completed.

Gowtham Menon after seeing this film became very emotional. He had appreciated Ram for making a very good film.
