Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who has just got a declared hit with Thuppakki, started his upcoming project with director A. L. Vijay with no time lag. This untitled Vijay starrer has started with formal pooja this morning.

Actor Vijay is already on cloud nine as his Diwali release Thuppaki is breaking records at the box office. As earlier reported, Vijay will join director A L Vijay for his next venture. There was lot of rumors regarding Vijay’s next project. Now A L Vijay has confirmed that Vijay’s next venture will be with him. The pooja of the untitled film starring Vijay and Amala Paul was held in Chennai today. They are planning to start the shoot next month in abroad.

"Just done with the pooja of my upcoming untitled film with Dir Vijay-Vijay and team ... wish us luck and prayers :-) godspeed ....," 

tweeted Amala Paul, who is roped in to play the female lead for Vijay in this yet-to-be-titled venture.

A major part of the film will be shot in Spain while the second half will showcase Vijay in a never seen before avatar. The film will have both comedy and romance in equal levels and the most interesting fact is that Sathyaraj and Nassar will play important roles in this stylish entertainer. G V Prakash will be scoring music for this flick and he has already started composing music. The film’s cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah while the lyrics are written by Na Muthukumar and editing by Antony.
