Sattam Oru Iruttarai is a film which was released some 30 years ago. This film which was directed by S A Chandrasekaran had Vijayakanth in the lead role.

This film is once again being remade. This film is being directed by his relative Sneha Britto. Vijay Anthony has composed music for this film.

The audio CD of this film was released in the premises of American College in Madurai in the presence of college students.

The audio CD was released by American College student Nixon which was received by other colleges students located in Madurai.

The hero Tamil Kumaran, heroine Bindhu Madhavi, producers Britto, Vimala Rani, cinematographer C J Raj Kumar, American College principal Thavamani Christopher, Ram Prasad and others participated in this function.

Producer and director S A Chandrasekaran while speaking on this occasion said, “ I wanted my son Vijay to become a doctor but he wanted to become an actor. In order to fulfil his desire I made him hero in my five films including Naalaya Theerpu.

After this, he took up acting as a challenge and has grown up to this level by his own efforts. Parents are only guides. So students like you should decide what your endeavour should be and work hard. That hard work will fulfil your dreams definitely.

When the film Naalaya Theerpu was released, people said that director S A Chandrasekaran’s son is the hero of the film. Now they are saying that I am Vijay’s father. Only hard work will fetch this kind of pride. You should give this pride to your parents.

My granddaughter has directed this film with the intention that the Tamil Nadu people will appreciate the talents. This film will be a great success.
