Finally, Mani Ratnam unveiled his Kadal hero and heroine Gautham and Thulasi officially.

Conclusively, Mani Ratnam, has decided to divulge his debut actors Gautham and Thulasi of 'Kadal'. Since, the commencement of the movie's shoot, Mani Ratnam had taken real care of keeping Gautham and Thulasi out of the public's eye. The first look of the artistes had indeed been a hype when their look was revealed. Though the looks were revealed, they were away from media's eye and never made any public appearance. This changed when the official announcement of the 'Kadali' audio launch was announced.

It has been reported that Thulasi and Gautham will be attending the audio launch of 'Kadali' which is the Telugu version of 'Kadal'. The launch is to be held at Hyderabad today (Jan 10) during which Thulasi and Gautham are to make their first public appearance.

Thulasi had tweeted, "Today is the big day, when Gautham and I will be launched. So excited yet nervous." On the other hand, Gautham's tweet was, "First public appearance, audio launch of Kadali in Hyderabad, nervous."
