The latest buzz in K-Town is that Jiiva has been approached to play the lead in Selvaraghavan’s next, which will be produced by Dhanush’s production house.
We even hear a meeting is scheduled to take place between the actor and the director soon.

A source says, “Selva and his team got in touch with Jiiva a few days ago, and had spoken about joining hands for a possible venture. Since the actor is presently not in the city, an official meeting will be set up between the two as soon as he returns. Once the script narration takes place and Jiiva gives the nod, further announcements will be made.”

As of now, composer Anirudh, editor Kola Bhaskar and cinematographer Ramji are on board. This project will go on floors as soon as Selvaraghavan wraps up his Irandaam Ulagam.

It looks like Selva’s Irandaam Ulagam is set to be wrapped up as soon as the last song is shot. According to sources, the song to be shot with Arya and Anushka will be done in Uzbekistan in Central Asia. The team is set to leave for the country on March 21. Earlier, they had shot extensively for the flick in Georgia.

After signing the Dhanush-Selva project, it looks like the young music director has signed up one more flick! Anirudh will be the music director for the Tamil remake of S S Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna. A source says, “The film is being directed by Srinath, and the team is fervently getting the cast and crew in place. Geeta Basra is likely to play the female lead in this family entertainer, and Anirudh was recently approached by Santhanam to be part of this flick. And, he gladly agreed.”

Interestingly, Anirudh is also the music director for Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s untitled venture, in which Santhanam plays a crucial role.
