Director Lingusamy, in a recent
interaction said that he had actually narrated the scripts of his movies
like Run, Sandakozhi and Vettai to Vijay but somehow it didn’t work out
and he had to do these movies with other heroes. In fact, he had
scripted these films with Vijay in his mind. It must be noted that Run
and Sandakozhi went on to become blockbusters in 2002 and 2005
respectively, while Vettai was also a decent success in 2012.
Lingusamy, known for his racy commercial entertainers, has also thrown his hat in the ring by saying that he might work with Vijay after he completes his upcoming Suriya project. The processes related to this project are also going on, it seems. Fingers crossed for this combo which guarantees paisa-vasool entertainment.
