Singam 2 story travels from Tuticorin to South Africa is what director Hari had revealed earlier. The latest is that the director has planned an electrifying stunt sequences in Malaysia and so the team has left to Malaysia.
Suriya starrer Singam 2, which is a sequel to his smash hit Singam, is nearing completion.

Some songs and fight sequences have already been shot in South Africa and now some high octane climax sequences are being planned to be shot in Malaysia along with few important scenes. After crossing swords with Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen in 7aam Arivu, Suriya will fight it out with another Hollywood actor, Danny Sapani in Singam 2.

Singam 2 stars Suriya in the lead role with Anushka and Hansika being his leading ladies. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad while the cinematography is being handled by Priyan and editing is by VT Vijayan. The film also features an ensemble cast of Vijayakumar, Nassar, Mukesh Rishi, Rahman, Vivek and Santhanam in important roles.
