Vijay denies acting in Baadshaah remake!

There were a lot of reports in the last few days over the remake of Telugu hit film Baadshah. It was reported that Vijay would be starring in the Tamil version of the movie.
But today Vijay has denied it in a chat with an English daily. It is learnt after the success of Thuppakki,Vijay is keen in establishing himself in Tollywood so he is not very much interested in doing remakes. It has to remember that last year Vijay refused the offer to act in the remake of Dookudu.

The Tamil rights have been bought by Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinema. "PVP Cinema has bought the Tamil remake rights of Baadshah, which is likely to be remade with a top actor," a spokesperson for Baadshah told IANS. It was said that the producers were planning to remake it with Vijay in the lead. They reportedly had a word with Ilayathalapathy and they were likely to screen the film for him soon.

It is because Vijay, in the past, had got a lot of success in the remakes of other language films. Hence, it was believed that the Velayudham star was the first choice. Well, Illayathalapathy, who is busy filming his forthcoming film Thalaivaa in Australia, has clarified that he is not aware of it and the reports are false.

Sources say Vijay will return back from Australia and join Jilla shoot in May . After completing Jilla, Vijay will move to AR Murugadoss project and the plans remains unchanged. So now PVP cinemas has to look out for another mass hero .
