Vijay’s Thalaivaa trailer was launched along with the movie’s audio launch on June 21, the day before Vijay’s birthday.

Thalaivaa trailer has crossed over 14 lakh views in 3 days of its launch in YouTube. The trailer has also got more than 17,000 likes so far. The response to official theatrical trailer of Thalaivaa is massive.

The audio and trailer launch function was hosted at a five-star hotel in Chennai. The occasion was a grand affair and the venue was packed with the biggies of the film industry, the cast and crew of the film, friends and relatives, fans of the star and the media. It was a three-hour long function which had speeches, audio-visuals and dance performances.

The most important moment of the event was Vijay releasing the music CD of Thalaivaa, which was received by Indian film industry’s first PRO and film historian, Film News Anandan.

The much-awaited official theatrical trailer of Thalaivaa was also released during the occasion. The trailer is 2.42 minutes long. It says the story is about a common man who turns into Thalaivaa. The trailer has a tagline ‘Time to lead’.

It is very sure, Thalaivaa has all elements in it. Vijay is seen doing romance, action and a very responsible character, who has immense love for his country. The movie has Santhanam to take care of the comedy while Sathyaraj and Y G Mahendran do pivotal roles.

The music for the film has been scored by G.V Prakash and the album has 6 songs. As soon as the audio was released, the album has also become a super hit. The song Vanganna Vanakanganna sung by Ilayathalapathy Vijay is already topping the charts in all radio stations.

Directed by A.L Vijay, Thalaivaa features Vijay and Amala Paul in lead roles. Rajiv Pillai, Santhanam, Y G Mahendran and Sathyaraj also play supportive roles in the movie.
