Vishal's forthcoming film which has been titled Pattathu Yaanai is slated for a grand scale release on July 26. Bhoopathy Pandian wielded the megaphone for the film and Michael Rayappan produced it on Global Infotainment production.

Touted to be an action entertainer with ample comedy, Pattathu Yaanai introduces Action King Arjun's daughter Aishwarya to Kollywood film industry. Santhanam played a comic role in the movie. Pattathu Yaanai has musical scores by Thaman.

The film has done a decent pre-release business at the Box-Office and the distributors who had watched the final version are quite happy with the film's output. The film is gearing up for grand release worldwide on July 26.
