We all know that Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam had faced numerous issues before its release. On that account, Kamal Haasan’s production company, Raaj Kamal Film International had filed a complaint against the Tamilnadu theatre owner’s association via the Competition Commission as they had refused to screen the film.

The theatre owners in turn had registered a plea to quash the complaint claiming that the actor had included them wrongly. They had mentioned that Kamal Haasan alleged that the theatre owners had adopted a resolution against the screening of the film in a meeting conducted by the theatre owners association, which they claim they did not adopt.

However, Justice Sasidharan mentioned that the director general of the competition commission would check on how far the resolution is genuine. The theater owners association also requested the commissioner of police to register a complaint against the actor for forging such a resolution,

Justice Sasidharan however said that the genuineness of the resolution has to be looked into first before they can proceed further on the case.
