Pretty damsel Samantha in on cloud nine after winning the Filmfare Awards for the best actress both in Tamil and Telugu recently. Samantha’s last film in Kollywood was Gautham Menon’s ‘Neethaane En Ponvasantham’ last year and is now busy with a number of Telugu flicks. The pretty heroine moved into the top league after being roped in by director Lingusamy for the Suriya starrer but this project has now been put in cold storage.

Samantha is very disappointed that the filmmakers don’t have any idea on when this project would commence. The talented actress has infact earlier missed out on two important projects in her career – Mani Ratnam’s Kadal and Shankar’s Ai – last year owing to a skin allergy she suffered. Now with the film with Suriya not looking good to kick start anytime soon, looks like Samantha is planning to shift her focus to Tollywood again.
