After composing for offbeat films like Atta Katthi, Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum, Santhosh Narayanan has now signed on Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham, which has Santhanam playing the lead role. The film is a remake of SS Rajamouli’s Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, which was also remade in Hindi as Son Of Sardaar.

While the composer could not be reached for a comment, a source confirmed, “Yes, Santhosh will be doing the music for the film, which is directed by actor Srinath.” We hear that the team was initially planning to rope in Anirudh, but since he is already busy with a handful of projects, decided to go for the Villa composer.
