Shaam is excited about his next release, 6, for which the actor had worked for almost two-and a- half years. He says, “It has been an arduous journey. The story takes place in six different cities — Bhopal, Kanpur, Goa, Kolkata, Allahabad and Lucknow. We had to travel to different locations in all these cities, which consumed quite a lot of time.”

He adds, “I play Ram, an IT professional, in the film. The character gets into trouble and to solve the mystery, he travels to all the cities. It has been a wonderful travelling experience for me even while working on the film.”

The audience will also get to see Shaam in six different looks in the film, directed by VZ Durai. He says, “I lost oodles of weight for one of the looks, which was appreciated by many in the industry. Sporting the ‘swollen eyes’ look was the most difficult part of the journey. I’ve been playing light characters, and this is the first time I have tried something very challenging. Though the film was long in the making, I learnt a lot as an actor during the shooting.”
