South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to celebrate the 100 years of Telugu cinema here in Chennai at Nehru Indoor stadium. Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha has given her nod to inaugurate the event.

These celebrations will take place from 21-24 of September graced by film fraternities from Kollywood, Tollywood, Sandalwood and Mollywood. Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Dhanush, Suriya along with Ajith will be attending the event alongside Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Sudeep, Vishnuvardhan besides CM's of four states and President Pranab Mukherjee.

Monotonously, dignitaries from Telugu film industry are unwilling to perform for the auspicious evening, as they are disinclined to hurt Seemaandhra people who are fighting for their separate state issue.
