However this Diwali will be special for Vijay fans too since it has been officially confirmed that the much expected trailer of their icon will be released on November 2, the Diwali day and the films will release for Pongal 2014.
WIth Ajith's Arrambam releasing on account of Diwali, Jilla's trailer release is going to make it a ThalaThalapathy Diwali.
Meanwhile, Jilla, the film. that sees Vijay and Kajal pairing up after the A.R.Murugdoss directed super hit flick Thuppakki also has a proud addition to its crew in Mohanlal, the Malayalam Superstar. The technical crew of this film dircted by Nesan are currently located at Japan to shoot a song with the lead pair. The shoot of the romantic number is said to take place soon. After the schedule in Japan the crew will returns to India to shoot a grand celebration song.
The talkie portions of the film has been completed and the team is working without a gap to shoot the remaining songs and achieve the Pongal 2014 deadline
