SS Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, producer of STR and Hansika starring Vaalu are planning to unveil the films audio in December, following this film will be releasing on February 3, on Simbu's Birthday.

Debutant director Vijay is wielding the megaphone for Vaalu , which is under production from quite a while. SS Thaman is roped in to score music for Vaalu and the film has cinematography by Shakthi, while TS Suresh is editing the movie among the crew.

Earlier, makers have planned to release Vaalu for 2012 Diwali , however things couldn't take place for unknown reasons. If sources are to be believed STR fans will be in delight, as they get to see their matinee idol on screen in early 2014.
