Suriya's big budget action packed Anjaan directed by Lingusamy is being shot in and around Mumbai. On Sunday, a group of people belonging to a Tamil group disrupted the shoot and hurled abuses at director Lingusamy and cameraman Santosh Sivan, for making Inam.

Anjaan shoot was going on at Ballard Estate an old European style business district situated in south Mumbai next to the Fort area. It is located between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus) and the Fort’area of South Mumbai, scenes of Suriya battling a group of 'thugs' was being shot.

Since it is a public place a lot of Suriya fans had come to watch the scene. Suddenly from nowhere this group emerged and started shouting slogans and abusing Lingusamy and cameraman Santosh Sivan for making Inam. Lingusamy decided to cancel the shoot for the day.

Later in the evening Lingusamy and his Thirrupathy Brothers decided to stop screening of Inam, in Tamil Nadu theatres. Remember the film has got a clean U certificate and has also got a entertainment tax exemption from Tamil Nadu government.

If all goes well, with added security, Linngusamy is planning to resume his Anjaan shoot today in Mumbai.
