Vijay Sethupathi's summer release Mellisai is nearing completion. Its first look posters were released last evening and were well received in the social media circuit.

In Mellisai, Vijay Sethupathy is paired opposite to his NKPK Co-star Gayathrie. Vijay Sethupathy plays a character who is trying to bring out a music album and Gayathrie plays a music teacher in the movie. The movie revolves around music and hence the title Mellisai.

Rebel Studios' Deepan and Ratesh who are producing Anirudh musical – Aakko and GV Prakash's Trisha Illana Nayanthara are producing Mellisai. Newcomer Ranjith Jeyakodi is the director. Another newcomer Sam CS is providing music.

Mellisai audio is expected to release by end of the month and the film will be Vijay Sethupathi's big summer release in May/June.
