Kamal Haasan, who was in Cannes to inaugurate the Indian Pavilion, is back in town. We hear that the actor will begin work on the next schedule of Uttama Villain in Chennai.

The film’s unit, which first shot in Bangalore, had canned some sequences in Chennai earlier before heading off to Turkey to shoot a song there. The team has now come back to Chennai for its next schedule.

Says a source, “Kamal sir, who had led the Indian delegation at Cannes, returned late on Sunday night to the city. He will join the entire unit, including Andrea, Pooja Kumar and Nasser, from today (Monday). The team has begun shooting and is slated to shoot here for the next 40 days. Some important scenes are to be canned during this period.”
