Vishnuvardhan has worked with a star as big as Ajith and churned out two super hit films in ‘Billa’ and ‘Arrambam’.

Even Aarya, who plays one of the lead roles in the director’s upcoming film ‘Yatchan’ is a star. However the director has revealed in a recent interview that stars have never excited him.

Vishnuvardhan was a friend of actors Ajith, Vijay and Suriya, who commanded star power while he entered the film industries. However the director preferred to do his second Tamil film with Aarya who was unpopular at that time. The director has said that, people suggested him to cast a hero with star value in his second film since his first film ‘Kurumbu’ did not earn high returns at the box office, However Vishnu went ahead with Aarya since he strongly felt that a actor should be cast in a role only if he justifies the story. In the same interview Vishnuvardhan has also confirmed his plans to make his foray into Bollywood soon. He has said he is talks with a few people and will make an official announcement once things get finalized.
