There were reports that KV Anand and Ilayathalapathy Vijay would team up for Vijay’s 60th film. But the director has now clarified that it is not true.

A couple of days back, the online world was abuzz with the news that KV Anand would be directing Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 60th film after the Velayudham hero completes Chimbudevan's project and Atlee's film. The snapshot of K V Anand's tweet, said, "I am happy to announce that my next film is respectively Vijay60 - a great tale of action and romance".

This naturally created an upswing among the fans but director K V Anand himself denied this with this tweet, "This is a prank and a fake design. And he deleted it later. Zoom & check the favorites, they are Whites & Chinese."

Clearing the air, Anand said, "This is the work of a prankster. I share a very good relationship with Vijay and I wanted to clear the air. I am not doing a film with Vijay sir right now".
