Cho Ramaswamy hospitalised due to breathing problem

Popular Tamil actor-turned-politician Cho Ramaswamy, 80, was Wednesday admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, after he complained of uneasiness and breathing problems.

"He was rushed to Apollo Hospital after experiencing some difficulty in breathing. He has been admitted to the intensive care unit," a source close to the family told.

The multifaceted personality like actor, politician, journalist and noted lawyer, started his career as a theatre artiste. One of his popular plays is "Mohammed Bin Tuglak", which he later directed for the silver screen.

Meanwhile, a team of doctors is constantly observing Ramaswamy's health condition and giving proper treatment. Though, the doctors attending on him haven’t released the bulletin on Cho’s health condition yet, we have reports suggesting that he is in the intensive care unit. Cho has been suffering health-related ailments for the last 12 months.
