Bobby Simha in Jigarthanda threatens Siddarth to direct a movie with him. A similar event has happened really and has resulted in a movie named Sabaran.

R Bhuvanesh has directed this movie and says the toughies were not actually tough but they only showed love in a little tougher way. The story revolves around a Police Officer who starts investigating on a bomb blast in Coimbatore and then invents a lot more about the injustice against the country.

The cast also includes models Prashanti, Deepika and well known actors like Kathal Dhandapani, Appukutty, Vincent Ashokan, Thalaivasal Vijay and Bose Venkat.
