Ajith’s 56th film, which has not been titled yet, will have music by the young music sensation, Anirudh.

After getting to compose tunes for Vijay’s Kaththi recently, Anirudh is getting to work with another icon of Tamil cinema. The young music director is for all reasons happy and proud as he will score music for Thala in his upcoming movie currently being referred as Thala 56. The music director himself has confirmed it through a micro-blogging site

Ajith is joining hands with Siva again after Veeram and this movie is produced by AM Ratnam. AM Ratnam is working with Ajith continously after Arrambam and Yennai Arindhaal.

He is a Sai baba devotee and it is no wonder the announcement that Anirudh is part of the project has come on Thursday. Thala 56 is getting bigger everyday.

The shooting is expected to begin next month. Sources say that Shruti Haasan has been finalised to play the female lead in this movie. Ajith underwent a minor operation couple of days ago and will start work on this project soon. Stay tuned for more updates...
