Diwali big release Vedalam has been still creating some sensational records and every day it manages to get onto the headlines. The film has now broken the life time record of Vikram-Amy Jackson starrer 'I', which was directed by Shankar in the Malaysian box office. The trade analysts have now unveiled the official list of top 5 films spinning huge box office collections in Malaysia and it is as follows.

Enthiran  – 9,547,411MYR

Sivaji – 8,389,146

Vedalam – 7,676,603 (13 Days)

I – 7,404,000

Kaththi – 6,430,110

It is worth mentioning that Vikram's I was released for the festive occasion of Pongal, which had four long weekend holidays, which was an additional factor bringing more crowds to the theatres, but Vedalam released for just one day of festival on Diwali has managed to draw more crowds accordingly.
