Criticisms and mixed reviews – Nothing had hampered the scenario for Puli and finally the makers are happy that the film has successfully completed 50 days.

The film happens to be the first ever fantasy based adventure film in the past few decades and now Vijay holds a prominent position in the Indian film industry for spearheading with such aspects.

Puli was directed by Chimbu Devan and produced by P.T. Selvakumar and Shibu Thameems, which was made at a whopping budget.

The film featured some of the most promising personalities of Indian film industry including Sridevi, Hansika Motwani, Shruthi Haasan, Kiccha Sudeep and many others.

Although, the reviews didn't completely favour the movie, it has managed to make some decent collections in the box office.
