Vijay Sethupathi is Yugendran's choice for Malaysia Vasudevan's biopic

Malaysia Vasudevan needs no introduction, the legendary singer has sung over 8000 songs in his career spanning over three decades.

Among the many legendary singers that Tamil cinema produced, Malaysia Vasudevan holds a special place for his unique voice and singing style. Malaysia Vasudevan performed each song with utmost sincerity and surprised everyone with the range he had.

In a recent interview, the late singer's son Yugendran who is an actor and singer, known for his acting in Vijay's 'Youth' and Ajith's 'Poovelam Un Vasam' said: "I've already made a documentary on my dad's life. Now, I'm penning a feature film script based on his life story. He struggled at the rubber plantation farm in Malaysia before he come up in singing career. Personally I think Vijay Sethupathi would be apt for the biopic, he would pull off my dad's body language and mannerisms".

Vijay Sethupathi was recently inked to play the lead role in Sri-Lankan cricketer Muthiah Muralitharan's biopic, which will be directed by Sripathy Rangasamy and produced by Rana Daggubati. We have to wait and see if Vijay Sethupathi will agree to play in Malaysia Vasudevan's biopic.

Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in 'Sanga Thamizhan' and he is awaiting the release of Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Master'. His other upcoming movies 'Ka Pae Ranasingam', 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' are ready for release.
