TV Serial shoot and film post-production work to resume from tomorrow

Tamil TV Serials shooting and post-production work of movies will resume from tomorrow as the government announced relaxations.
After the COVID-19 lockdown was imposed to curb the raising spread of the novel coronavirus, many TV channels ran out of content and had to stop or re-telecast serials. Some channels filled the slot with back to back movies.

Though the state allowed the small screen content shoot and film post-production for a while with some restrictions, it didn't last long. The government reimposed lockdown in Chennai and the post-production works and TV serial shoots were stopped again.

Complete lockdown now ended now with TN government announcing relaxation, television shoots movie post-production will resume from tomorrow and all the serial buffs will be able to see their favourite shows and actors on TV.

The post-production work of several films including Kamal Haasan 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar and Nayanthara's 'Mookuthi Amman' by RJ Balaji are reported to resume tomorrow in Chennai with the guidelines provided by TN government. FEFSI has also permitted its members to work in these two films.

The cost incurred in serial production post-lockdown is a major concern among the producers who need to ensure the episodes are completed in less time and with minimal resources abiding the Covid-19 protocols.
