Chiyaan Vikram's 'Deiva Thirumagal' is receiving many accolades from critics, the common and those in the industry, who all are left quite emotional and teary after watching this film. The film portrays a legal battle by a mentally challenged Vikram to reunite with his five year old daughter, Nila.

This film that successfully took many down their memory lane has been nominated as India's entry for Asia Pacific Awards which will be held at Brisbane, Australia in November 2011, by Film Federation of India and NFDC. It was sent by the producer of the film for the awards.

This is quite an honourable achievement right after a few days of release.
