STR's Osthi has reached final leg of shoot and the makers are presently canning the last song on the lead pair at Muscat. The song will be shot in the beautiful locales of Muscat, Oman and Dubai with which major part of the shooting gets completed.

Being directed by Dharani, Osthi is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg where Silambarasan has stepped into the shoes of Salman Khan. Richa Gangopadhyay is playing the female lead. STR is playing the role of Osthi Velan, a powerful cop. Osthi is a complete mass entertainer and the lead star says he has fallen in love with his character.

The filmmakers have completed the shooting schedule in a record number of 90 days that too, with high technical values. Ramesh is the producer of Osthi.
