It is known that Shruti Haasan has recently signed 'Welcome Back' opposite Abhishek Bachchan replacing Asin. Latest we hear, makers of Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film 'Aagadu' seems to have approached Shruthi Haasan to play the female lead in the film, for which earlier Tamanna was finalized.

Aagadu to be directed by Srinu Vytla will hit the floors in November, after Mahesh completes his '1-Nenokkadine'. Tamanna reportedly opted out of Mahesh's Aagadu as she is running short of dates and Shruti is yet to give her nod.

Shruti Haasan is said to be the frontrunner for the heroine role in Aagadu, as the actress struck gold adding latest blockbusters Gabbar Singh and Balupu to her credits. Meanwhile, Shruti is awaiting the release of Telugu romantic-drama 'Ramayya Vasthavayya' with NTR.
