Southern bombshell Ramya, who had sizzled in movies like Polladavan and Vaaranam Aayiram in Tamil, recently became a Member of Parliament from the Mandya constituency and has wasted no time in attending to her political duties. The pretty actress has become the youngest female MP in the country.

Ramya took to her Twitter account to update on the meetings she had been following up on. “Just met with MOS finance Namo Narainji & we will opening banks for Mandya constituency soon. Bhartiya mahila banks in November,” she tweeted, after which she added, “Spoke to Mr.Aiyappa MD Mysugar factory Cane crushing will be done as soon as loan of 15 crores is given by the state govt..”

Becoming a MP, looks like the fans would not get to see her on the big screen anymore as the pretty actress had earlier said she would quit acting soon to concentrate on her political career. Ramya’s Tamil film Kadhal 2 Kalyanam has been completed long back and is yet to be released and she has quite a few Kannada movie which could well be her last in her acting career.
