Bharathiraja has isolated himself and under self-quarantine for fourteen days in Theni since he travelled from Chennai.

The coronavirus pandemic has threatened the people all around the world and in this our film celebrities are no exception. People have not only maintained social isolation but have also self-quarantined themselves to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja said that he is under self-quarantine since he travelled to Theni district from Chennai to his leisure house. Following the protocol, the health department officials examined him at the district border. Although Bharathiraja was tested negative for coronavirus, the authorities of Theni have asked him to isolate himself in his house for 14 days as he had come from the red zone (Chennai).

On the professional front, Bharathiraja will be seen playing a negative role in 'Rocky' after 15 years. He is also part of Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu starring STR, and the shooting of the film is interrupted because of the Corona attack.
