Kollywood's recent Diwali super-hit film is definitely the Suriya starrer 'Soorarai Pottru'. Though released in OTT platform, 'Soorarai Pottru' is one of the blockbuster hit of year 2020.

After having lot of speculations, Suriya decided to premeire the movie directly on Amazon Prime Video. Just like the story in the movie, the release of the movie gone through several hurddles before it premeired on Nov 12, on Prime Video.

Suriya and 'Soorarai Pottru' team has been getting acclodes from fans, critics and many from film industry for his solid performance and other technical aspects. The latest to join is Tollywood super star Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh Babu took to his social media page to appreciate the film’s director Sudha Kongara, lead actor Suriya and others. He said it is a brilliant film and praises Suriya’s performance by calling it top form.

'Soorarai Pottru' is the fictionalised version of the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath based on his book, ‘Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey’. Recently Captain Gopinath praised the actor and team after watching the film.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film also features Aparna Balamurali, Urvashi, Paresh Rawal, Karunas, Mohan Babu, and others in the lead roles.  G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the movie.

On the otherhand, Mahesh Babu went on a vacation with his famuily including his wife Narmata Shirodkar, and kids Sitara and Gautam to Dubai. The actor recently returned from his vacation before resuming his work for his upcoming Telugu project 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'.
